Hi my friend,

A very warm welcome to my blog!  Do you like it so far?

You may ask, why did I create this blog?

Well, I have been preparing lunch box meals for myself and Hubby for the past year, so I thought, why not blog about it and share what I have been cooking with others who might be doing the same thing as well?

Most of the recipes come from my mum who has been cooking for us for the last thirty years, thus they are really authentic home-cooked food you can make from your kitchen too.  Sometimes I will also try out recipes from cookbooks and what the others are sharing on the internet as well.  The recipes here are mainly Asian cooking, as you can see, because that’s what we eat most often here in Singapore!  But to add more variety, I will also try to experiment with cuisines around the world.

Don’t be mistaken that these recipes are only meant for lunch boxes.  You can make these lovely dishes for your usual table meals as well!  In fact, they will taste even better just off the wok!

It has been a fun journey so far, and it has been really meaningful to blog about it and share it with you here.  I enjoy taking the pictures of my “works” and documenting what I have done for each meal.  It’s like my personal food diary, as I can look back on what I have cooked for the past year and refer to it when I feel like cooking the same thing again!

If you are interested in following what I do, do subscribe to my feeds and pop by whenever you are free.

I look forward to seeing you around! :)

Kind Regards,
